The Pyrenees form the mountain range along the border of Spain and France, and Catalonia holds its eastern end. The Pyrenees Three-Day Camp is the multi-day way to ride it: 320 km and 7,400 m of climbing with van support, a hotel and a mechanic. Long climbs, cold descents and changing weather are normal here, so the support matters. It is the hardest tour on the site and suits experienced riders who train regularly. Riders wanting a taste of mountain riding in one morning might consider the Big Climb Morning.

Why ride here

Pyrenean roads offer long, steady climbs, big descents and quiet traffic outside summer weekends. Passes can be ridden in sequence over several days, which is hard to arrange without local knowledge.

When to go

Late spring to early autumn is the usual season, since higher passes can be closed by snow outside it. Summer afternoons bring thunderstorms in the mountains, so early starts are typical.

Guided or self-guided?

The camp is a supported group tour, which handles luggage, repairs and route-finding. If you want only a single day in the hills, the half-day Big Climb Morning is the lighter option.
